• When cleaning, gently rub and wash with cold water or chlorine-free detergent (avoid bleaching) and refrain from soaking.
• During the initial washes, slight fading may occur, especially in brightly colored swimwear. It is recommended to wash separately to prevent color transfer onto other clothing.
• Do not machine wash, as the strong mechanical action of washing machines can damage the elasticity of swimwear, causing it to lose shape and stretch.
• After washing, do not hang immediately while still wet, as the weight of the water can lead to stretching. Instead, lay it flat to air dry. For styles with beads or ruffles, it is advisable to hang them for drying.
• Avoid applying sunscreen or tanning oils directly onto the swimwear to prevent chemical damage.
• Prevent contact with sharp objects or avoid using a spin dryer, as it may cause surface damage or oxidation of metallic embellishments. Ensure that any metallic elements are completely dry before storage to prevent rust.
• Do not expose swimwear directly to sunlight or use high-temperature methods like ironing for drying, as these actions can make the material stiff and brittle.
• Store swimwear by crossing the straps at the back to maintain the shape. If cups become indented, laying it flat for a few days can help it regain its shape, but avoid any heavy pressure that may prevent it from recovering.
• Avoid rubbing swimwear against rough surfaces such as sand, cement, or any abrasive materials to prevent damage to the fabric and to avoid sand getting trapped in the fabric.
